INSTALLATION TIP: When replacing a snapped or worn CVT belt, inspect your variator roller weights and clutch pulleys. Clean out all old belt dust inside the housing using brake cleaner. Never use screwdrivers or pry bars to force the new belt over the pulleys — compress the rear clutch pulley sheave by hand to create the slack needed to slide the belt on safely.
