50mm M50 x 1.5 RH Female Flywheel Rotor Magneto Puller – Suzuki Arctic Cat ATV Motorcycle
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Heavy-duty 50mm M50 x 1.5mm Right-Hand Female Flywheel / Rotor / Magneto Puller designed for removing compatible flywheels and magneto rotors from the crankshaft.
This specialty removal tool is commonly used on a wide range of Suzuki motorcycles and ATVs as well as Arctic Cat ATVs and UTVs, including many Eiger, KingQuad, Vinson, QuadRunner, DR650, Savage, Intruder, Prowler and Wildcat applications.
The puller threads onto the compatible flywheel/rotor and uses the center forcing bolt to apply controlled pressure against the crankshaft, allowing the flywheel to release from the crankshaft taper.
Using the correct puller provides a much safer and more controlled method than attempting to pry or hammer the flywheel off.

WHAT DOES THIS TOOL DO?
Flywheels and magneto rotors are commonly installed tightly onto a tapered section of the crankshaft.
Removing the retaining nut or bolt does not necessarily mean the flywheel will simply slide off.
This puller is designed to:
-
Thread onto a compatible M50 x 1.5 RH flywheel/rotor
-
Secure the puller body to the rotor
-
Use the center forcing bolt to apply pressure against the crankshaft
-
Create controlled outward pulling force
-
Release the flywheel/rotor from the crankshaft taper
This allows the rotor to be removed without attempting to pry behind it.
WHY WOULD YOU NEED IT?
Flywheel/rotor removal may be necessary when performing:
-
Stator replacement
-
Charging-system repairs
-
Magneto service
-
Flywheel replacement
-
Rotor replacement
-
Ignition-system repairs
-
Pickup / trigger component service
-
Crankshaft service
-
Crankshaft seal replacement
-
Electrical troubleshooting
-
Engine teardown
-
Engine rebuilding
-
Internal engine repairs
-
Access to components located behind the flywheel
Trying to remove a tightly seated flywheel using hammers, screwdrivers, pry bars or other improvised methods can potentially damage the flywheel, rotor magnets, stator, crankshaft, crankshaft threads or engine cases.

IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION
PLEASE MATCH YOUR REQUIRED TOOL BEFORE ORDERING.
The critical specifications for this puller are:
50MM DIAMETER
1.5MM THREAD PITCH
RIGHT-HAND THREAD (RH)
FEMALE / INTERNAL THREADFitment should NOT be determined solely by engine displacement, vehicle manufacturer or appearance.
Different model years and versions of the same ATV, UTV or motorcycle may use different flywheel and crankshaft configurations.
Some applications may also require an additional crankshaft protector, cap or adapter during flywheel removal.
Please compare the specifications in this listing with your original flywheel and service information before ordering.
IMPORTANT USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
USE HAND TOOLS ONLY
DO NOT USE AN IMPACT WRENCH, AIR IMPACT OR POWER TOOL TO TIGHTEN THE PULLER.
Excessive impact force can potentially damage the:
-
Puller
-
Forcing bolt
-
Flywheel
-
Crankshaft
-
Crankshaft threads
LUBRICATE THE THREADS
Lubricating the puller and forcing-bolt threads before use helps reduce friction, galling and unnecessary wear.
DO NOT FORCE INCORRECT THREADS
The puller should thread onto the compatible flywheel correctly.
If the puller does not thread smoothly onto the rotor, STOP and verify the required thread size.
Forcing an incorrect puller can damage the flywheel threads.
BASIC USE
-
Remove the appropriate flywheel retaining nut or bolt.
-
Verify that your application requires an M50 x 1.5 RH female/internal-thread puller.
-
Lubricate the puller and forcing-bolt threads.
-
Back the center forcing bolt out before installing the puller body.
-
Thread the puller body fully and correctly onto the flywheel by hand.
-
Make sure adequate thread engagement is achieved.
-
Tighten the center forcing bolt against the crankshaft using the appropriate hand tool.
-
Apply controlled pressure until the flywheel releases from the crankshaft taper.
-
Remove the puller and proceed with the required repair.
Never use excessive force or power/impact tools.
