Get more usable gearing from your GY6 performance build with the NCY 16×36 final-drive upgear set.
The 16×36 combination produces a 2.25:1 gear ratio, compared with the commonly used stock 13×40 ratio of approximately 3.077:1. This represents approximately a 27% upgear and provides greater top-speed potential for engines with enough power to take advantage of the taller gearing.

Due to differences between manufacturers and transmission configurations, please compare your original gear dimensions, spline count and engine configuration before ordering.

INSTALLATION NOTICE
THIS IS THE NON-PRESSED VERSION.
The 16-tooth NCY gear must be pressed onto the appropriate countershaft before installation.
The original countershaft gear must first be removed and the new NCY 16-tooth gear properly pressed into position.
Access to a 12-ton hydraulic shop press or equivalent professional equipment is recommended.
Professional installation is strongly recommended if you do not have experience pressing transmission gears.
IMPORTANT
Upgearing does not create additional horsepower. Your engine must produce enough power to effectively pull the taller gearing.
Performance will vary depending on engine displacement, modifications, CVT setup, tire size, vehicle weight and other factors.
