WHY USE A PALM RATCHET?

A conventional ratchet needs enough clearance for its handle to swing back and forth. In extremely confined areas, there may not be enough room.

A palm/thumbwheel ratchet eliminates the long handle, allowing you to rotate the socket directly with your fingers or palm. This makes it especially useful for starting, running down, or removing fasteners in restricted locations.

IMPORTANT TOOL NOTE

Palm ratchets are primarily intended for access and convenience in confined spaces. For heavily seized fasteners or applications requiring substantial torque, loosen or perform final tightening with an appropriately sized conventional ratchet, breaker bar, or torque wrench.

Always use the correct socket size and appropriate tool for the required torque.
